Having been overweight all my life, it has given me so many life experiences of the emotional side and how it looks and feels being fat.
I wanted to lose weight for my wedding so I joined Weightcare - that was in 1982.
The slimming plans worked so well I have never been anywhere else. A complete yoyo dieter I always came back to Weightcare. Then in 1999 after 2 ½ years I had
finally done it, my mind had been so focused and with the encouragement I received I had lost 9 ½ stones. I was entered into the Slimmer of the Year competition for 2000 (I came 2nd) and was asked to become a consultant.
Unsure I could do it but willing to give it a go I became the consultant for Earl Shilton/Hinckley. The class has grown and is very successful, very
social and a real pleasure to do. Weight losses within the class give great encouragement and motivation. I have had several slimmers in the top 10 of the Slimmer of the Year finals. It still gives me great pleasure to help and see so many people achieve a slim, healthy life. |
